You just got promoted. Now everyone's watching—and you have no idea what you're doing.
GOOD.
Cause that’s exactly when I show up.
So you got the promotion.
Now what?
You're managing people who used to be your peers. Some of them don't fully respect your authority yet—and you can feel it in every meeting. You're second-guessing your decisions, over-explaining yourself to your own team, holding boundaries while still desperately wanting to be liked, and quietly wondering if everyone can see that you're figuring this out as you go.
That's not a confidence problem. That's a first-time leader problem. And it's exactly what I'm here for.
My 1:1 coaching is a high-touch, no-nonsense experience built specifically for women in their 20s and 30s who just stepped into leadership and refuse to fake it until they make it. Together, we'll build the communication skills, the boundaries, and the unshakeable confidence that turn you from a manager your team tolerates into a leader they actually want to follow—without burning out or losing yourself in the process.
This isn't advice you could find in a Google rabbit hole at midnight. It's real strategy, real accountability, and real conversation with someone who has been exactly where you are—and knows the way out.
If you're ready to stop second-guessing every decision and start leading like you actually belong there—because you do—let's talk.
I’m Katlyn!
Most people wait until they feel ready to lead. I'm proof that the deep end is actually where the growth happens—if you have the right tools to swim.
When I stepped into my first leadership role and I had no idea what to expect. Suddenly managing former peers, navigating conflict with senior leadership, equipping an under-resourced team at a relentless pace, and quietly falling apart on the inside—I did what most driven women do: kept showing up anyway. But it was the decision to start therapy and pursue coaching for myself that changed everything. As my emotional health grew, so did my leadership.
In my 10 years of non-profit leadership experience, my primary measure of success was developing others. I got the gig because I could get work done well, but when I realized I had a dozen emerging female leaders looking for leadership development, I knew it was my job as a woman myself to teach them everything I knew. I channeled every hard lesson, uncomfortable conversation, and hard-won breakthrough into my coaching work with the women around me, giving them practical tools, real talk, and grounded confidence to lead well right now—not someday when they finally felt ready.
When I'm not coaching, you'll find me crocheting something I probably started three months ago and fully intend to finish.
I've been in the deep end. I know the way out. And I'm ready to show you.
“Before working with Katlyn, I had leadership instincts and creative skills, but I second-guessed myself constantly. Through coaching, I gained real confidence in my strengths while also being stretched into new levels of clarity and leadership. She has this rare ability to support you like a best friend while also being incredibly clear and direct about what will help you grow. What surprised me most was how seen I felt, she cared about me as a whole person, not just what I could produce. I walked away with stronger boundaries, a healthier view of work-life balance, and the confidence to lead from who I actually am. I’d recommend her to anyone who wants to grow as a leader without losing themselves in the process.”

Your Employer Might Pay for This
Professional development budgets exist for exactly this. Many organizations actively cover the cost of 1:1 coaching for their employees—they just don't advertise it. You may already have money sitting there with your name on it.
All you have to do is ask.
To make that ask as easy as possible, I created a ready-to-use proposal letter you can send straight to your manager or HR team. No awkward conversations, no starting from scratch, no trying to explain what coaching even is. Just download it, fill in your name, and hit send.
The worst they can say is no. But you'll never know if you don't ask.
